Re: Pillboxes
I've unpacked, added TCMasks and repacked but it refuses to work. No ripple rocket change.
Re: Pillboxes
Ah yes, the first line of the .pie should read "TYPE 10200" instead of "TYPE 200" to enable tcmask, and the tcmask texture needs to have the exact name "page-33_tcmask.png" (notice the "_" and not "-")

Re: Pillboxes
Still refuses to work. Shows up in game with the original model. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Pillboxes
Nope, still not working. I had it saved just as 'mod' but uploaded as 'Ripple Rocket' for clarity
Re: Pillboxes
I am too lazy to go look at the parsing code, but space in filenames is just asking for trouble.

Re: Pillboxes
It never had a space until I renamed it for upload. It was just 'mod'
EDIT: Do I need to save it as .wz in some special way?

Re: Pillboxes
Remove the ripple rocket folder inside ripple rocket.wz. The components, texpages etc. folders shouldn't be in the main directory of the mod.
You currently have 'ripple rocket.wz\ripple rocket\components', it should be just 'ripplerocket.wz\components'.

Re: Pillboxes
Check blhowmnt.pie, after the last of the faces there should be an entry like this:
Code: Select all
CONNECTORS 1
0 0 8

Re: Pillboxes
I get this far with texturing but can't get any further. I need to join all the rocket heads and the tcmask pod holder thing to the actual pod but I've made myself a nice texture for the actual pod. Is there a way to stick this texture to the pod?
EDIT: Dm, worked it out myself through going through other mods. However it hasn't worked.

Re: Pillboxes
Looking real nice so far Although the stretching shows... But hey, learning by doing is the best way

Re: Pillboxes
But why has my 'muzzle' turned invisible?
@Jorzi it doesn't show stretched in game, that was until the pod did a vanishing act
EDIT: I think I'm going to have to join all the the 'rocket pod' meshes together which brings me back to a question, how do I 'stick' my current texture to the mesh?
EDIT1: Fixed. Will posted pic soon
