Well, they "don't belong" due to that we are used to how it looks in game now. ;-)

It's also worth noting that designs are being worked on for many of the other units in the game. So whilst this transport might look strange at the moment, over time other units will be modernised as well.

When I first started playing warzone, I though the units and structures looked out of place on the map. As the terrain, buildings and droids have gradually improved, thanks to countless hours of effort by the community, the visual feel of the game has got much better IMHO. And seeing some of the work people are doing recently, it looks like that trend will continue.

Yeah, art part is as much or maybe even more important side of game as coding (especially when engine will be finally could be called "state of the art"). ;-)

the art group's mod with the better looking units all look like a better version of the original. I just don't see how this unit can be used without fixing all the other units to match the style that is why I think it don't belong in this thread maybe a future thread for new models that don't fit the current style?

You need a fresh view, use imagination. ;-)

Hmm... I must admit I agree with zany on the style of the transport submissions. However, I also think the current model from the campaign is fine.

Nice! I believe that I once heard someone say that they would like to see an expansion with aliens and such, a long time ago. I think that (s)he'd like to see this.

That would be perfect as an easter egg for warzone.

I'm guessing that you'd like for it to be somewhat like those motherships from Independence Day (the 1996 film), right? Perhaps if its weapon had a range of no more than, say, 1, then it'd be neat.

Are these mods available for download anywhere? Even if they are never going to make it in to the game, it would be cool to just play around with them.
