Perhaps you guys might use some updated lowpoly models for scavenger structures.

There has been some work done already on scav models viewtopic.php?f=49&t=9182&p=104205&hilit=fred#p104205
Also your scav gas station is missing the sign and the pumps what version of warzone are you testing this on?

Have they been implemented yet? Otherwise I can't see much point to improving the scav's structures textures.

Nice stuff berg. The sign is there, I also edited but it's cut from the screenshot.

The mod contains all textures from my previous posts, including all the textures mentioned in the topic. There are some bits missing, that are hardly worth redrawing, because it doesn't make much difference ingame. However, what's not done is: Campaign buildings and in general 'units'.

So far I'm not sure who maintains the graphics and I'm not sure who decides on what to include in the game. I consider this to be finished unless some feedback from the community is collected. Feel free to use my textures for the game or for mods (GPLv2 license and author included in the wz archive). For me the next step will be to get into modelling and contribute some stuff to AR. :)

A couple of thoughs i had; i'm not really any good in artwork, so it all may be wrong :stressed:

  1. Command center rooftop seems a bit too high-contrast, or is it just me? :oops:
  2. The same thing about relay center: not sure it's actually a texture problem, maybe these textures are just too good for these simple models :hmm:
  3. Also, could anybody pleeeease also fix sensor texture? It's so low-res :(

It seems to be a sharp transition, then again this is due to the stock texpages having just so much stuff on them.

Thanks for the feedback! About the sensor: I wanted to do that, but then I couldn't locate the texture quickly. Do you know which texpage it is on?

Sensor model is GNLSNSR1.PIE as stated in stats/sensor.txt (stats/sensor.ini), this model mentions page-17-droid-weapons.png; but then i'm not sure which part of it ... should be explained somewhere in the POLYGONS array :ninja:

It's probably the one near the bottom, to the left of the command turret. Which is, probably, the same part of the texpage that the sensor turret makes use of.

Lol: i pointed out the tank sensor instead of the cc sensor (which is TRLSNSR1.PIE) :oops:

Okay,I applied some blur and noise as a quick fix. But I think that's already much better.

Okay, here is a quick update thanks to NoQs feedback. I guess the contrast is a matter of taste, but you're right. I tried to give it a lot of depth but the results had to much contrast. I hope it's slightly better now. The new sensor texture is also included. Additionally I fixed the research addon model, because one of the addons has a weird rotation in the original model (see screenshot).
