In official, since 3.0 looks really ugly with old models

Still its up to the devs/artists as to what get in and what does not although it would be great if they did get in. However the AR mod is in dire need of an update.

The problem is that the models may not look that good if the style is not consistent. The current old set of models all work quite well together, and if you only replace some of them they will look out of place. That's why we're aiming to remake all the models so that they all have the same style.

About the front iron sight, I imagine that the lmg turret is just a normal infantry machinegun mounted on a turret with a camera, and therefore it still has iron sights although it doesn't use them. Besides, I also thought it looked cool :P How many think it should go and how many think it should stay

hmmm I'm not even sure about how to do that... I guess I'll just keep it unless people make loud protests

Fortunately, we aren't technically a democracy, so as a developer I formally request that the sight should at the very least be made less slanted. It looks really weird sticking out taller than it is long.

Hey, I said "formally request", not "require". There's still leeway for personal judgment. ;)

I think that it should be made more subtle, just like Zarel said (not because HE said, it's really my own opinion as well) :hmm:

But it does look good, great work Jorzi! :)
