blhardpt.pie plus texture update
blhardpt.pie.png
This model does not use team colours but I think it could do with some.

Some times looking at the texture and the poly co-ords of model I often wonder what the image is supposed to relay weather it is concrete or metal and after looking at these old default models in detail I have come to the conclusion that pumpkin artists used any texture that looked close to what they wanted ..It would be nice to find info on each pie file as to what they intented it to look like.

The exrocket.pie is a odd shaped mount and im not sure whether to add a full base under it or add 2 separate extensions.
Ill leave this for now..

This makes all the tower defence structures complete I think, I am still not completely happy with the basement extension texture but its better anyone wanting to assist with texture jump in.

I had assumed such things to be cementitious, so the basement looks good to me :) Though, you might dirty the edges of the tower a bit.
This is why some features aren't implemented: http://forums.wz2100.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=7490&view=unread#p87241

Variants of metal, cement (as in how "caissons" are made - Towers & HPs esp.), cinder block and composites of those elements (some with a sheen and some not). In the case of the AA base (and Baba Pits), the wicker furniture look is supposed to be interlaced sand-bags.

Vast improvements, btw, over the originals across the board. Very much a worthwhile effort.

- Regards, Rman. :)

Just a quick revamp of the sand bags in gimp for you all. The whole wicker furniture things realy gave me a chuckle.

Just added a basement to exrocket.pie its spose to be a sandbag structure see above screenshots.
I added a cement textured base as sandbags looked very bad.
no screenshot as im Lazy

Regards Berg

PS: the texture i have uploaded does not have the changed texture for sandbags thats just a local thing i have going.... :)

There are some very interesting constructions with, & looks to, sandbags. For such a simple object, it's been put to some amazing uses.

I notable improvement over the originals "wicker furniture" look, no doubt, Berg. :3

(Gave me a chuckle too. :) )

May I suggest a more muted hue and perhaps a we bit more internal asymmetry - I mean something like the attachment below. Just a thought. It can certainly stand as done just fine.

- Synergistically, Rman. :hmm:

Yes Rman it could be enhanced to have more faithful sand bag appearance BUT for now ill leave it at default for the forum but my local repo has flashing lights and a mouse with a house and a door that is green.
