Are you afraid of it? :-)
What if it will be the only way to fix foundations?;-)
back to the topic... Will you test your wall model?

having the walls looking like a staircase is ok, but if you can make the model height shrink to match the neighbor then it is better.

It's not better, read the topic to understand why not.

@Mangust
I have a wall model? :P
I remember starting on some hipoly wall doodle but I don't think I ever finished it...
I used macuser's wall in some renders of mine, but it still needs fixing before it can be used ingame...
Your wall looks real nice though...

Hmm, too bad the old texture is so small. Aside from that it looks fine with this model, imo.
This is why some features aren't implemented: http://forums.wz2100.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=7490&view=unread#p87241

I rerelease all of Berg's work under CC-BY (i.e. you can use it as long as you credit me for it) (just kidding)

Well, here it is.
The original model was made by yahodahan.
I just used it as a source. now it has 70 faces.

P.S. about foundations, I think I will create a test model later, the new model has small foundation and stretching is not so noticeable though. :)
P.S.2 oh.. license... will the CC-BY-SA-3.0 be enough? :hmm: If yes then I release it under the CC-BY-SA-3.0

Just a reminder there is 3 wall and corner wall models in the game...
blwallh.pie
blwall2.pie
blwall3.pie

corners
blwallc1.pie
blwallc2.pie
blwallc3.pie

I don't know if it would be ok to use the same wall structures and just change the texture or make new walls for each sect.

Anyway this came to mind so I shared

I know, will make the corner wall later, for other walls I will just change the texture. Don't know what to do with campaign walls also.. damn, I am even not sure what Per was asking for. XD

Campaign walls are the same as skirmish and multi player I think

CC-BY-SA-3.0 is fine. A corner model is needed, yes.
