you can see the updated wiki page here = http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/Mods/ScavArt (lav_coyote25 updated.) xD

I want to edit my first posts too because for my mod manager almost 300 people have downloaded v1.0 AFTER v1.5 was released. :( :(
In general, if you see glowing, pulsating things in the game, you should click on them.

No offense, but maybe it will be easier if you'll allow people to edit the first post of their threads? I just don't get why the forum is so restrictive :stare: If you'll need a ticket as an official request then I'll create it right away (even will follow those %$#&! bugreport rules :3)

I'm sorry, but I'm not the one to make that decision. Personally, I would also prefer for the forum to be much less restrictive, but Kamaze is the one who makes the decisions about the website and forum. You'll have to ask him (whether by forum thread, bug ticket, or PM - although if you do PM, make sure to post his reply somewhere).

My request was rejected. Hmm... I doubt that he can't, so that means that he simple don't want to...

Hmmm.... I've been roving cyberspace boards for well nigh two decades now and this policy is a first for me. Has the distinct smell of paternalism, to be candid. Then again you do have the choice to merely communicate simply with fellow fans but make sure you keep your options liberated by externalizing ALL your pivotal resource usage - which is pretty easy and cost free these days.

No, it's pretty common.

It's also the reason why many well-known forums don't have an edit feature (Slashdot, most imageboards, DeviantART's forums). Others have an edit feature for some things, but store edit history so you can see past versions (Stack Overflow).

Hey Guys, lets stop such talks before my thread is locked down as a porn one :)
The answer was NO and I can take it.

Edit: removed the word while I can ;)

Hmmm. My original comment was no flame unless not agreeing alone constitutes the definition of "flame" which, for me, would fall in the same category of propagandist technique used by the Bush administration to brand those who dissented with their policies as "un-patriotic and un-American".

I will now speak briefly to Zarel's response to my post in purely rational terms then revert to an absentia state since I have spoken already to this topic thread, & i-NoD, directly and at this time, in all truth, have nothing new to add to the subject.

I am aware of what you cite, Zarel. Have been. I made the first WZ 2100 wiki in 2004, after all, and dealt directly with the folks that run the show at Wikia in the process. Post bb edits were also allowed in Pumpkin's Official WZ bbs and every fan WZ bb I ever admined-moderated-hosted-web mastered. I've also had no restrictions on my editing in any other bbs I've participated in for almost 20 years now (we called them EBBs, back then). ;)

Common can be entirely relative to your experience and no, I'm sorry, but your experience does not in any way supersede or speak for mine and never will since my yard stick takes its measure first hand from when I started pre-browser / html and circulating in cyber circles built of pure capitalism from way back to this moment.

Getting freebies and doing stuff for free has a way of fostering the illusions of self-ordination / coronation and that the world at large works according to those metrics but it doesn't at all. If the emperor's new wardrobe is nothing but him strutting buck-naked, well I'm gonna call it as I see it. That there is an OSS collectivist mind-set afoot that is wont to be held-up as the norm in cyberspace I'm well aware of but I am in no way a subscriber to those notions nor is it what predominates my experience or perceptions - in the past, at present and hopefully, ever. really.

whippersnapper, I'm apology for being edgy.

I've started a mod wikipage for ScavArt mod, so can anyone of the moderators place a link to the first post?

Not much to update, but i've reworked a jeep model so it should look less 'paperish' i hope... check the ScavArt page.

done did do = you can see the updated wiki page here = http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/Mods/ScavArt (lav_coyote25 updated.) xD
