Love the Monolith Battle fortress!
For colors, check out palette.txt, they are all defined there.

EDIT: Added new pictures.
I'm in the proces of making it more faction style. I've used the JS system for AI in order to let the AI only build faction specific technologies. So far, works like a charm :D

Here follow some screenshots from ingame action. (sorry for relative low-res images)
Also, a lot of unt and structures still requires new textures and models, so expect some stuff yet unchanged.)

as for this topic: I have modified the palette file, but only in-game colors change, minimap colors don't. Why?
what am I missing? is minimap info also in the palette file? if so, where? I can't find anything.

Hmm, could of swore we changed those from hard coded (in radar.cpp), to be in that file, but, I guess we missed those. :hmm: :stressed:

I'm not exactly aware of the history in this department. As you can see from the images I posted you may notice that unit colors do not line up with the minimap.

and this is how I lined up the player colors.

Code: Select all

9b,0f,0f,ff	// team1 - red (originally Green)
27,31,b9,ff	// team2 - blue (originally Yellow)
50,ff,90,ff	// team3 - teal (originally Grey/White)
70,00,74,ff	// team4 - purple (originally Black)
f0,e8,10,ff	// team5 - yellow (originally Red)
ff,b0,35,ff	// team6 - orange (originally Blue)
10,70,10,ff	// team7 - green (originally Pink)
ea,bc,ff,ff	// team8 - ghost pink (originally Cyan)
7f,3f,1a,ff	// team9 - brown
85,ff,00,ff	// team10 - poison green
E0,E0,E0,ff	// team11 - white
90,90,90,ff	// team12 - gray
20,20,20,ff	// team13 - black
d0,10,b0,ff	// team14 - pink
20,d0,d0,ff	// team15 - cyan
42,00,77,ff	// team16 - violet
It's not game breaking, but sometimes annoying. Just saying.

Those green-black tanks might suit fantastically well into campaign 4's jungle theme!

If you want, you can use the .pie models.
I can send them, but they haven't got the highest quality, so you may need to enhance them.
