I would like your thoughts on an idea related to sensors:
Sensor units should have a special set of options in the menu. These would be the options: "Target units first", "Target buildings first", "Target defenses first" and "Target factories first". I believe the purpose of these options should be self-explanatory.
A second set of options for sensors would have these: "Sensor priority" (target what the sensor sees first) and "Proximity priority" (ignore the sensor if something is within range and closer to the assigned unit than what the sensor sees).
I believe that with these options, tactical gameplay should greatly increase in quality, as finer control of the path of destruction would be given to the player.
Please, I'd like to hear the opinions of both developers and players on this one.
