Shotgun turret
Would a shot gun turret be a good addition?
Re: Shotgun turret
Shotgun Cyborg would be pretty sweet.
Re: Shotgun turret
Zero Omega - did you check the forums for suggestions on shotguns? ^_~
I am certain that there are several instances, including those made myself when mulling over faction warfare ^_^

Re: Shotgun turret
Shotguns?
Talk about very short range and very inaccurate. Any unit could destroy the turret as soon as they want, they just have to sit outside the shotguns range.

This is a waste of space. Something important should be here.
Re: Shotgun turret
The same could apply to flamers. However unlike other mg-scale weapons a shotgun would deal spread damage.-Kosh- wrote:Shotguns?

I am thinking along the lines of the devastating bockshot ammo that were so devastating in WWI. A great scavenger addition.
Re: Shotgun turret
I don't know about shotgun turret, but a shotgun Cyborg (like heatwave said) would be very nice...
Short range, Anti-cyborgs, and not too expensive

Maybe I should remove my location o_O

Re: Shotgun turret
Well i think that a shotgun cyborg should be added!!
Re: Shotgun turret
How effective and practical would a shotgun be in vehicle/cyborg warfare?
Could you even call it a shotgun, technically?
Shotgun doesn't mean a gun that fires buckshot, it means a smooth-bore two-handed firearm with a relatively large shell, it's just that they commonly are used to fire buckshot.
Actually the definition for shotgun is not very strict.
Regardless a flamer sorta fills the role that a hypothetical vehicle-mounted "scattergun" could fill, being a short ranged but wide-yield weapon.
Unless you can think of a useful niche for it, then I don't see it being practical.

Re: Shotgun turret
Cyborg unit, really effective against cyborgs, but it would have very short range... It makes a lot of sense, since it is a very common weapon...
however, it's an unnecesary unit... but it would be cool xD

...in other words, a flamer?Sekmeton wrote:Cyborg unit, really effective against cyborgs, but it would have very short range...
Find an actual niche for this weapon, and maybe I'll consider adding it.

Re: Shotgun turret
your first cyborgs should be shotgunners. followed by the rest... relatively cheap and quick to produce... xD
