New research tech

Not sure if something like this would be possible (or wanted), but decided to share the idea anyway.

Power reduction upgrades:
What if there were three or so upgrades that reduced the power cost of weapons and structures or any other part of a droid? Say you design a tank and it uses 387 power to produce and after researching these tech items the cost is 315 or whatever. It would be best if these research items appear farther in the tech tree so as not to spam a bunch of units early on.

In effect, it's the exact same as increasing the power produced by the power gen. So there is no need for that :)

I'm in favor of cheaper late game items like the lizard body and a viable balance of the light bodies in general.

ideas are fine however this may add additional complications to the existing tech tree. So thanks but in my mind this isn't the kinda thing I'd want.
