There should be at least one 2-turret unit that has a weapon turret towards the front and a repair turret close to the rear. Any allies that follow this vehicle can be healed.
One instance is a commander with other units around it. Imagine a vehicle that can both combat and restore hitpoints.

That's a good example what can be done with twin-turrets... I did not think about it.
But I would put simply two light cannons and destroy your army armed with weapon and repair turret
