Of your very map!

Hello Gentlemen

I have recently spoded, recently in past two years, that from time to time, here there and everywhere, a forum member or thirty, submits a map, or three, in our beloved forum.

Now.. it happens very often that we cannot even dream about a picture of a map even if requested desparatelly few times in some cases.

What about a smart device that whenever it "sences" a map, it would demand a "picture" file, and allow to submit the map file, only with picture "sensed".

As always I have no idea about the programming stuff so if it is an hell idea just dont kill me

This sort of issue arises in most games that allow custom maps - unless the tool that creates the map automatically generates a minimap or screenshot of some kind, there will always be some people who fail to provide a graphical representation of their map.

It's mildly annoying at present, but if there is an increase in new maps it could become quite a stumbling block.

IMHO best place to generate map pics would be when uploading maps to addons database.

Sounds interesting, for example you upload a map, pretty girl tels you to wait, you see 7% 56% 87% loaded. And it authomatically makes the image of the map from the FlaMe file

What would I desire more?
