Warzone C.G.I animation movies remake

Post by manaze1 »

Hello. I have the ability to make animations using the Iclone Program. I also am the only person to ever release an expansion pack for it.

Anyway, Ive played warzone since before gamespy hosted it, and ive made a few maps throughout the years, but id like to make something more helpfull to the warzone projoect

I was wondering if Warzone Need a remake of the Videos included. I could remake them into 1080p 1920x1080 resalution and it could add more flavor the game, maybe a much needed update from the old animations.

Heres a sample of my work:

Check out my work and get back to me.

Kinda hard to tell, since most of the stuff you are doing is with people.
Can you do something with some WZ units for a example ?
and it ends here.

I'm glad you want to help, but as buginator said, this requires mechanical animation as opposed to character animation.
Also, a raytracer or something would be better than simple realtime rendering (not that you cannot make good realtime stuff, though)
What kind of a program is iClone anyway? It looks quite limited...

Looks like AR assets could be used via the 3DXChange4 pipeline into iclone for animation:

The username "manaze" looks familiar. Do I, perchance, know you from RTS.net or similar?

I need the Models converted to the link below:

http://www.reallusion.com/iclone/3dx_fe ... models.asp

That should tell u how i need them. I can the sound from the old videos, just remake the visuals.

Once i get some models, i can put them into a realtime 3d video.

I used to play wz 10 years ago, watched 2200 come and go, now i think I should remake the videos.

I also want to do the videos in 1900x1080p with 25mbit bitrate. I can maintain quality to 1080p while reducing file size to assure they get added and one by one, slowly create videos replacing the original

More info:
Google 3d warehouse may already have tanks and cannons or towers with guns on them, I think it would be very easy for me to import these models into a world, then add the transport flying in and unloading tanks.

I just need the Models, I can create the 3d scene easy, Im confident somebody has some models sitting around.

let me know

more info:

Also - A high quality perfectly engineered 60 seconds of video can take 24 hours to do, so id like to get started immediatly.

I need somebody to start posting models of tanks and hardpoints so i can begin remaking the videos

I can send you all my models in .obj format if you wish, just pm me.
If you want to know what I have, check out my artwork thread viewtopic.php?f=33&t=5136
I have normalmaps too, but they're in object space so I hope you can handle that.

OBJ format is very simple, anyways, I assume you'll be using this: http://www.reallusion.com/iclone/3dx_fe ... export.asp
Which says it can convert both 3DS and OBJ.

Yeah, every serious 3d program should be able to use obj...
I must say, however, that I have my doubts about iClone as a serious animation package, but as long as you can get good results with it, no problem :P

My youtube account has been upgraded to longer than 15 minutes, currently uploading my 43 minute animation, including custom song, and custom footage added with cgi.

Ill post the link in my next post. Its episode 1,2, and 3 which took over 1 year to make.

Heres the Final cut. Spans over a year of my animation and shows the evolution of my abilities to make a movie.
It shows episodes 1,2,& 3.

Episode 4 is 50% complete, Episode 5 is 80% complete, episode 6 still needs to be created.

Should be released in a couple months, I need an idea for the 6th episode.

Please post comments on the youtube section , let me know what yall think
