The AI is yet sooo dumb

last map i played 1v3 1 = myself 3 = 1 dydo and 2 semperfi

but guess what? Dydo managed itself to get all of its units stuck onto a small hill :annoyed:

while semperfi first builed factory and research followed by a few oil derricks and then he did not had enough power to build a power generator.... free win ftw? :ninja:

the map was 8p - Cockate :lecture:

simply the ai needs to locate there closest derricks not the farest, thats there biggest mistake, will this ever be overlooked? currently they just offer there lives for ur win at the very beginning :lol2:
... where did all the good ol classic ai's gone to? Turtle AI , Super AI

Try playing with humans. The AI won't be better than humans any soon anyway (:

Hey, there are humans who are worse than the AI, too! ;-)

PS I will look into the semperfi problem, see if I can reproduce it.

yes Semperfi as an ally isn't a good point as well, they keep sending there whole army to ur fist build oil derrick 0.0 and then there base remains defenceless , also cud you let the produce more units on "insane" ? cus they have some sort of limmit i'v seen....

I cannot reproduce any of those problems with semperfi on cockate... Is it a particular starting spot that is problematic, or is it all of them? One particular oil well it should not be grabbing? Screenshots?

semperfi on insane = easy rabbit.... it appears the difficulty levels are reversed. i will do one more test on psykofs2011 and let you know.

just finished - semperfi on easy rabbit... umm... yeah... spam of vtols and cyborgs... very few other units... just over 2 hours to complete the map... could haave dragged it out more.. but is time for eating... XD took some screenshots... will try to post later or turn into a movie type thingy and post to youtube...

Come to IRC to arrange games. Only well-tested players here, and if someone leaves or cheats, you can still catch him. Never play outside IRC; bad for your health :wink:

i did not make screenshots but in every round they always move with ALL of there units to ally oil so there base becomes a easy target, i got this AI on insane

and about cockate, start without base on T3 Semperfi on hard, its maybe this time they forgot to build a power generator
and the other dydo AI had his units stuck but thats the maps fualt i guess, but i think they ai shud have a unit chek to see if there units are actually moving or not

Ok, I looked into this now, and fixed a bug where it would think an ally's oil derrick was a good target for attacks of opportunity :? :stressed:

So now it will try proper attacks of opportunity. The only problem is that there is at present no way to tell the path finding code to take a path of least resistance from the scripts yet. So droids will frequently try to blaze their way through enemy strongholds to get there (usually losing every droid in the process), even though they could just sneak around and blast some undefended oil derricks (as they are supposed to). Much to do yet.

nice per, hope it will be updated in next release! i also got a criticism on the Dydo AI

this time i got screenshots , somehow after a while Dydo ai loses his mind and stop doing unit orders, only building and staying home becomes its priority and another anoyying thing, his attack force stays at one spot: http://imageshack.us/f/594/wz210020110606234034skc.jpg/

could this be fixed? it seems that there is less attention to the ai's some how

I have not seen DylanDog around in a while. He is the only one who works on Dydo. I am busy working on blocker issues for master.

awesome that ur working on that! also i think there shud be something harder then "insane" that doubles the speed of construction manufacturing and researching speed for the AI, and spawn a bit of reinforcements... (just a suggestion for real challenges and fun)

i hope u can get around these issue's the AI currently has, i like ur attention to that :3

First I want to tell you that it is impossible to make ai script that would
still be interesting. every ai plays always the same way ..
for example//if he tear down a factory it will consistently build back in
the same place no matter what happens in the database.
you certainly would not do that, right?
If you play several times using the same ai you will find his weak point,
that is the way that you win.
in order ai to have hundreds of ways it takes years for something like that..
Asked whether these documents are very large work without errors
(Not just talking about the warzone ai, its similar in most strategies).
without dependence on only the game but also on the pc, no errors would be inevitable.
and wonder if computers are stupid or the people who created them!? ..
Yet to make a long because I hope I have explained the what the problem was! ...
have you tried super ai1.5 for wz1.10??? :lol2: :lol2: ..
Has a very rapid production of the units.
Do not try to win, its impossible :P . but these will be interesting to play sometimes.
choose a smaller 4 player maps with a lot of oil.
