What a game :-)

Post by jeff_sadowski »

I tried the demo out along time ago and loved it. I really wanted to buy this game accept I never saw it in the stores. After a while I forgot about it. When I saw it on freshmeat while looking for games I was very estatic. I can play it in linux or windows and it works rather well. :-) Few issues but nothing big. I started playing it and boy is it tough one timer after another. It makes for a challenging game. I spent 2 days playing it so far. :-P I love it. Thanks for this great game.
Is there a place to donate?
How new is this project?
Is there an FAQ?
Are there plans to improve the resolution?
Is it at 640x480?
I'd like to be able to play with people and robots at the same time is there a way to do that?

You can change the resolution either with command-line options or in the configuration file, the location of which depends on which OS you run the game on.  As to playing with people and robots, there are essentially two multiplayer modes: Internet play and Skirmish play.  Skirmish play works by loading a multiplayer map and pitting you against several computer opponents.  Internet play lets you play with as many people as you want over the Internet and then fills in the remaining slots on the map with computer opponents.  When you start a multiplayer game in Internet mode, after you click the button to make your choices regarding the game settings you can click on the button above it to change the computer "intelligence" level, setting it to 0 to remove that computer opponent.

‎"to prepare for disaster is to invite it, to not prepare for disaster is a fools choice" -me (kim-lav_coyote25-metcalfe) - it used to be attributed to unknown - but adding the last bit , it now makes sense.

We don't even have a bank account for donations or similar.
So the project itself couldn't take any donations.

And currently I won't know what to do with the money.
Perhaps later? We are still growing... :)
