What I like about these besides the scav cobbled together engineering, is the art on war machines. This has a very long RL history. It's some thing that came up in talks with XANAX when working on "War School" 4 years ago. There is untapped potential here when it comes to tribalizing scavs and allying with different tribes.

Yup, I also love the art on the vehicles.

Here's another scav-like thing I just found - a motorbike made from old tractor parts:

That is totally hardcore scavs. :D

Even though the game doesn't support the persistent wreakage of a battlefield.... I have imagined scavs grabbing and working with whatever was left - tank parts, borg parts, vtol parts and transport parts. As such, even scav mods have only scratched the surface of what scav units could be like.

If you mean "+" instead of "Like"

I wonder how you drive this: "Tractor" + "Motorbike" = "Mototrack"

There was a discussion in scripting forum about creating wrecks, not sure if it ever got implemented though. With the more advanced JS API in wz3.2 it should be more feasible, but there's still a few missing pieces of the puzzle IIRC. Someday it might be feasible that JS API could enable certain bodies / weapons / etc. based on what wrecks are collected. There could be certain things that are researchable, but when collecting wrecks they could be repaired and used once. Eg. scav collects a viper tank wreck, repair it and can make a single viper tank (once production starts, the option to use that body is removed, until they collect another viper wreck).

Strange. Looks like a corrugated tin, make-shift, shed to protect the cab, engine and trax. But why not also the hydraulics of the arm and shovel which will suffer the effects of exposure to the elements, & inactivity, which judging from the weed growth, looks protracted.
