as usual we are left hoping our favorite windows only applications work with Wine. People seem to have varying success with Wine and Xfire. (see Xfire entry in the WineApp DB. So why not give it a go and see if it works for you.

I would try it myself but the Xfire homepage seems to be unwell today, and as I cant read (or trust) anything written in moron, I'm going to wait until it is feeling better, (and uses the Queen's english).

Setup a new account with the Xfire protocol and your Xfire settings

ye this is very usefull i think...
-easy connecting(copy adress and paste for IP connection)
-it's free^^
-easy installing....and setting up a network
-not a big program, i never have had problems with it...
