Update forum software

Post by raymond »

Hello,

phpBB seems to be very old: "Powered by phpBB © 2000, 2002, 2005, 2007 phpBB Group"

regards,

Is there any other phpbb forum that has another sort of copyright statement? Most phpbb forums i know say this, and it doesn't make phpbb outdated. Also, is there anything specific that you're looking for? It's all about "don't break it as long as it works" (?)

The problem is worse than you think! Some of our C header files date back to the early 1980s.

Just to satisfy my curiosity... Which ones?
In general, if you see glowing, pulsating things in the game, you should click on them.

As a serious answer, the copyright year in phpBB isn't the same year as the phpBB version year at all.

We are using the latest version of phpBB, 3.0.9, dated July 2011.

Look at the bottom of phpbb.com and you'll see "© 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 phpBB Limited" as well.
