many page views

Post by Hatsjoe »

With almost 100 000 page views in april, we easily beated the page views per month record. I think the forum is going faring well. But this is kinda insane:

May 2007          90580

      2007-05-01  90581

April 2007            97527

March 2007          59150

February 2007      50159

January 2007        63531

December 2006    41878

November 2006    28219

October 2006      26345

September 2006  21360

August 2006        1267

This must be a bug right ?

Webalizer says, 1.211.603 hits (hits != visits) last month. =D
Well, this for today could be a bug, or a (D)DOS or we have been linked on a very popular site.
I'll see tomorrow what the webalizer says.

if they want to dos us, and they don't manage to cause much, if any, downtime, then it'd be something of an insult to the attacker if we use their page hits in our stats.
