'Scoreboard' improvements?

This has been sitting idle for quite awhile, and just want some feedback.

This is what it looks like for a skirmish game

This is what it looks like for a MP game

Yellow = friend, Red = foe, white = you, and gray = a dead player.

Is there anything else that people would like to see?
Keep in mind the space restraints, it must all fit in 640-x480 screen!

I do have plans for the images you see on the left, before the players name. Some people think that, that is sorta 'cheating', since it allows you to see what they are up to. I thought about replacing them with something else, but that is a pretty small area to allow anything that has lots of details. Was hoping to do some custom avatars/flags or something, and then the game can upload them to the others, so they will display it.
I just need someone to create these small images...

(I know I have a thread that touches on this at viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1608&st=0&sk=t&sd=a , but that was getting too big.)

For avatars, Use SGV.

That way, we could potentially disiplay'em to many other places at different scales.

Perhaps, but at this time, we don't support SGV.

Terminator, as far as helping, you can try making a few different gfx icons/avatars/flags, and I can test how they look in game.

Most likely, there will be a thread about icons/avatars/flags, and people will vote what they want as 'default'. Then when the time comes, we can allow uploading of custom images.

Custom Avatars would be nice on the scoreboard, but please don't remove the 'last unit the player produced' picture. I've always found that invaluable, and it doesn't really alter your gameplay if you use it or not.

Dont say that ! It always was like a cheat. May be you are not so much expirienced player yet, but I can say that this thing must be replaced.

Its because you still dont use it. When you will, it become a cheat for you too. Trust Me

It's not a cheat if the other players use it too. Maybe the "scoreboard" menu is quite a hidden feature and new players won't know anything about that, maybe a graphic link to it in the HUD would be useful to avoid this problem.

The last 3 ones are from Gears of War, Homeworld and Command & Conquer and have nothing todo with Warzone.

For size, you see the walkie-talkie icon to the right of the player name?

That is pretty much the correct size. Yeah, I know it is small.

When we move to SVG gfx though, then at least we can scale the image without issue.
