So while playing a 2 player mayhem map with my dad, I noticed the following. If there is a new oil resource the blue blip starts flashing over it on the minimap, but if you scroll around the map so it shouldn't be on the minimap it shows up at 0,0 (top left) and blinks there, even if it really should have been south or somewhere else. I noticed this with all the oil dericks, so I could have multiple blips blinking in the top left of the minimap at once....
