The Warzone 2100 Project staff bring you 3.0-beta 4!


Please submit all bugs via this link, and follow the directions listed at the link, we need every bit of that information in order to fix bugs!

NOTE: the command line arguments need a "=" between parameters now.
For example: --mod_mp=blah

NOTE: For mac users: Support for 10.4 has been discontinued; using 10.6 is highly recommended as 10.5 does not support a sufficiently high OpenGL version for all types of GFX cards.

here's a suggestion, i've been looking up railguns and research shows that they were also used as AA and direct attack units...

Is this link broken for anyone else? But I found the beta4 after some browsing.

I get this error

The "/releases/3.0-beta 4/warzone2100-3.0_beta4.tar.gz" file could not be found or is not available. Please select another file.

Fixed now.

Umm I downloaded the beta but the game dosn't start. Im using XP on windows any clue why its not working. When I click the shortcut it tries to start but my screen dosnt go into the game, to be precise.

1) Did 2.3.6 work?
2) What graphics card/drivers do you use?
3) Try upgrading your graphics drivers.

I'm still curious about this universal feature patch thing. It seems to be in the master already (yay!), but not there yet.

AI players can build on burning oil resources.

The problem is my game wont start, I click it, then my icons disappear then reappear with no game. I don't know whats causing it. I also don't know what graphics card is in my computer. It is not the original one that my computer came with. My computer was taken apart and rebuilt and the guy who did it can't even remember anything about what he did to it.

Right-click My Computer, click Properties. You'll see a window with your computer info summary. Select the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager. In the following list find Display Adapters and click the + next to it. There's your graphics card.
Rebuilt or not, your OS should identify at least model name, unless it's handcrafted or something. The easiest way to find new driver for your graphics card would be to google "<card name> driver download".
