It has been three years since the last stable release. There is an enormous amount of changes in this release compared to 3.2.0. These changes include Display/UI scaling, performance improvements, major improvements to campaign, the return of secondary orders removed in the previous release, fix of shooting through walls, the return of macosx builds, and many, many other things. Below you can see the list of changes compared to the previous beta release.

It is available at our usual location: https://sourceforge.net/projects/warzon ... ses/3.3.0/

You can now also download it from https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2 ... /tag/3.3.0

We have also changed where to report bugs. Please report all bugs to https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2100/issues so that we can keep track of them, not post them here on the forums unless you think we've forgotten them. In that case, please include a link to the github issue.

Everything seems broken. Getting port errors, can't connect. Everything was working perfectly last night before the new release.

The lobby server needs to be updated.

Your game version is 3.3.0-beta1
You have the latest beta version of the game.
This is certainly true, but I would like a suggestion to update the game...

What happened to the mission briefings? Before it would throw up a mission box when you cross the trigger.
Now you must manually press the mission button and that isn't obvious to do that for new people.

You can use the 32 bit version on a 64 bit operating system.

We would appreciate if you created a GitHub issue for this problem.
Ideally, the bug report would include screenshots and/or videos showing
how the mission briefings worked before and how they work now.

Don't know how late i am on this bug train or if someone did report this though:
If your unit reaches "Special" rank, you can send it to recycle and build it again at base. If you look at send units you will see that your special ranked unit has been upgraded to "Hero".

I know i took screenshots but i can't find them on PC.

Commanders need more experience, so the experience of a "Special" commander might be equivalent to the experience of a "Hero" regular unit. Was the recycled unit a commander?

Right forgot that. Yes the recycled unit was commander and after i rebuilt him he was hero. What i noticed was only one mission that happened and that was i think mission before you get attacked by New paradigm. The one where you get and research the synaptic link.

Just passing by to say that this is the best iteration of Warzone 2100 so far. It's even better when it comes down to modding. So much easier to edit the mission script files and create new research topics/vehicle parts/structures/etc.

Have to agree here. adding the timer on mission 1 isn't a big deal for me anymore. while I admit I hated it at first. it still easy to stockpile a lot of cash. So overall I like the changes. Not really played the game since 2.3.9. So nice work and thanks to the devs that maintain this awesome game.
