Hello again Warzone fans!

Today, we finally have a new release of Warzone 2100, version 3.1.2!
It is available at our usual location: https://sourceforge.net/projects/warzon ... ses/3.1.2/

This is another release that unfortunately again, has been a very long in coming, and brings along some bug fixes and improvements.

Note, if you wish to compile it yourself directly from our repo:

then proceed as normal with the build process.

Now, you may have been wondering why is it taking so long for making releases.
We are a very small team of volunteers, that have actual jobs, and unfortunately, time is short for all of these days, so we have to use our time as best we can, and the majority of that has been working on the next version of Warzone that will be released after the 3.x version.

This project has no paid members, and all donations go directly to our web hosting provider that supports these forums, our lobby server, our bug tracker, and also the addons site.

As was mentioned, most of the focus that has been going on is with the next version of Warzone.
So, we are in a transition phase, putting all the pieces together to make Warzone's native scripting language to Javascript.

At this point in time, forum member NoQ is doing the brunt of the work for converting the campaigns from the old Warzone Script, to Javascript, and in the process fixing the campaign bugs that people have noticed.

We are still looking for volunteers, be it helping with the Campaign conversions forum post and ticket #4234, or fixing bugs or if web design is your thing, or, helping out the AR team upgrade the graphics to the units, or if you want to help write some new campaigns, forum member Goth Zagog-Thou is working on that front, feel like testing things, then forum member crab's Warzone guide Database could use some heavy testing before that goes final, and if none of that interests you, I am sure you can find something creative for you to do.

We would again like to thank all the volunteers that try to make Warzone the best RTS it can be, and never forget, Strategy by Design!

Sidenote, we have 200,000+ downloads of 3.1.1 from our SF page, and then all the distros + playdeb + all the rest, I am betting we have around 500K+ downloads. The vast, vast majority of those are SP *only*. Maybe 1% of that is MP.

NOTE: Mac builds should be working now.

If you have problems with the mac build on sourcefoge, then please try http://buildbot.wz2100.net/files/releas ... _fixed.dmg
NOTE: that will not show 3.1.2 as version, since some changes were made to it that wasn't part of the official release, but, it still will connect to 3.1.2 clients.


NOTE: Window's Intel integrated graphics users. If you are crashing in ig4icd32.dll as shown in your Warzone2100.RPT file, then please try upgrading to the latest video drivers and/or try turning off shaders. There is nothing else that we can do to fix it for intel people, so please report all bugs to Intel so they can fix their driver problems! http://www.intel.com/support/feedback.h ... s#graphics

Looks like a late christmas present to us. Keep up the good work! :) Edit: The Mac version does not work. It ends up with an error: Dyld Error Message:

Hey, themac, I'm responsible for the mac version. It worked on my laptop, but I don't have another Mac to test a clean install.

Would it be ok if I send you another version to test it out?

I have a MacPro mid 2012 and i confirm the Mac version doesn't work on my laptop.
Same symptoms as @themac.

I have deleted the folder in user/library/application support in case the old one was the cause of the crash and the installation doesn't create a new one.
An idea ?

My packaging of the .app wasn't configured properly. I've found the issue, will upload it later today once vexed shows up.

EDIT: The link is now updated. Please try again, it should work OK on macs now.

There is a huge amount of desync in over 50% of all games hosted on 3.1.2. Multiple players have confirmed this. It's unplayable to me.

Do you run into desyncs randomly with the same people, or reproducibly when particular people join?

Now i'm expecting players to fill up entire maps with a single type of structure :3

Sorry-maybe i missed some information. I do not want to bore you with details; however, I would simply like to mention that the shortcut shift t, to select all trucks doesn`t work. It works in 3.1_rc3
I am sure, i making something wrong. Can`t believe, that nobody noticed this problem.
