I want to help, but i honestly belive that before any real progress is to be achieved on the wiki, the existing contents need to be properly arranged and sub catigoried in a way that its easy for joe public to find what he is looking for. It was like this with Mediawiki. And I adjusted my signature...

Pressing Escape brings up a menu. Why not add a "Continue without camera rotation" to that menu? (I know, I know.. GUI :X)

FMVs will not make it into 2.1.0 afaik. They may will be added at a later point, when things are done. Until then you will have to use the text-only "videos".

You can adjust the tech-level (when choosing the map select T1, T2 or T3) and select the starting base conditions (no base, base, advanced base) to alter the starting tech. and how can i unlock railgun tech in multiplayer? ...
