the foundations idea sounds interesting.
have them added automatically when building on steep inclinations.
in the the case of walls, use a corner wall for changes in height.

That's the bit where the hit/miss info isn't transmitted at all. The interaction between the netcode and the projectile code is what's causing the problem, to be specific. that'd be the bit where the hit/miss info isnt being transmitted accurately? Exactly. Projectiles are too fast to dodge in real life, so realism is a poor reason to able to dodge them in a gam...

We really need someone to rewrite the projectile code so that it does to hit checking with raycasting instead. O_o I thought it _WAS_ a rewrite of the projectile code that has caused more problems. _THAT_ code should be reverted. progression is still progression, even if it has introduced different...

Some of us like the projectile speeds the way they are, especially in T3 with the Gauss Cannons and Scourges. These new projectile speeds take all the fun away IMO. south edge of the map, between the middle & south west corner, there may be some enemy vtol units trying to leave the map but cant.

I think the engine of the unit is what he is refering to. The engine is a finite power source. o_O havnt had a droid run out of fuel yet :ninja: :3 If VTOL Lasers had unlimited ammo, they would be a total bitch to kill. You can say that again. It would throw off balance so much it would not be funn...

all the aa guns in skirmish are coded as 'homing' to make up for the targetting.
im primarily a campaign player, and its only in 223 or 224 does the aa get that same boost

why not put one small red cheveron at the start of the bar for every 1000 points
have a yellow one for 500
then have the normal bar show the accurate cost beyond those, where a full bar is 500 resource points.
