Re: Updating the program
Should work. What do you mean by that? Last time I changed my old version to 2.1 beta 1, I had to start over again. And I am close to finishing it (I am in the Gamma 6 mission) :-S That means that it *should* work... If it does not, reinstall beta2 and continue. Or finish it off with your current v...

Re: M$ Visual C++ Runtime Library error- B4
Can you explain how you fixed that wz started in the fonts folder? I did not even know that it tried to do that... No, actually i cant, remembering that mess of coding and what i did to it is impossible. And i did not keep any of my change logs... No problem. If you were using SVN, you can do "...

Re: Maybe an old new GFX problem (Blue menus)
Not so weird actually. The terrain textures were not loaded, that's why you just see the white "background".
Did you already try reducing the tile texture sizes? Entry "textureSize" in the config. (Has a menu entry too, though I dont remember it at the moment.)

Re: Reset all settings.
I'm desperate, how can reset all settings? Because when i'm uninstalling (erasing also the configuration setting placed in My Documents), the resolution and other settings remain. OK done. Thanks anyway (but the text problem remains). I am not sure if the uninstaller deletes your config directory o...

Re: Text doesn't appear correctly.
We had this issue already some time ago. I even thought we fixed it.
And it is not related to WZ not finding the font.

Re: Version 2.1 beta 4 released and other news
You know, I have an idea that might sound pretty good..Two actually... Well my first idea, why don't we (or you makers =P) make it to where we can put our own music to the game, not saying the music is bad, i like it, sounds good for domination, it's just an idea i thought of... Possible already. T...

Re: warzone 2100 publicity
Usually we go by the name warzone2100 (for the package name, "user" name, etc) or "Warzone 2100: Resurrection" (for the group developing the game).

Code: Select all
removeMessage: message not found in list
error : Assert in Warzone: message.c:218 : removeMessageFromList (psCurr != NULL), last script event: '24 (CALL_OBJ_SEEN)'
This happens on any skirmish map? Or just on some? With mods or without?

Windows packager has been informed of the fonts issue. I expect an -r1 revision of the installers shortly.

Re: MAC users, where are you guys?
What exactly are the compile errors with fontconfig? Maybe you just need to set the include path?
