Re: Introducing "New Worlds Mod" TC
Sorry for tripleposting and maybe confusing because of the textures. The upper texture is the updated one. Dont know why it doesnt place under the old one. :hmm: Only 3 attachments are allowed, so i post the pie file here. I would be glad if someone helps me with animating the 3 levels. Level 2 need...

Re: Introducing "New Worlds Mod" TC
The shadows kill the illusion of a rounded shape (on the powerplant coil in the background).
What can i do there?
Rotating the structure or build it to fit the shadows, cant be the solution.

Re: Modeling with Blender
If the lights lit up in a "wave" when the piston goes down abruptly, I think it'd yell "I'm pumping oil" to the players, which is IMO, the great objective of a real strategy game model in the context of warzone (the model should represent its use and make it clear when it's work...

Can't wait 'till it's done! :D Me too. :) I think i dont need to tell you the function of this structure: Maybe someone got a good idea where to put the TC Mask on this building? guess1.png guess2.png The next step will be the new Oilwell.. Then i make models for the...

Re: Modeling with Blender
Ok in the next few days i will upload the seperated Model with animated lights. When this is done, im gonna make a custom sound with LMMS. How do you want to animate it? I think it looks cool when it moves up slowly and stomps down fast. With a little time before it moves up again. I need the timing...

Re: Introducing "New Worlds Mod" TC
This is the "almost final" version of the Powerplant. A few glitches need to be fixed like some cables are to thick on the structure itself and the connection to the cables on the baseplate. But all in altogether im happy with it.

Re: Corrupt-A-Wish
Your wish is granted. All the bored people play your warzone mod! Due to the heavy demand, you are doomed to model and code all your lifetime. Enchained on your pc! I wish that my visions of models and gameplay could be realized with a brain computer interface by only thinking of them! :D

Re: Models by macuser
Good to know. Thank you Jorzi!
Can you tell me if you use Adaptive QMC when using Raytrace?
And what about the Falloff? Do you also use it for the models you make?
Im currently baking AO for a baseplate
Edit: Since years now my approximate bakings never crashed.

Re: Introducing "New Worlds Mod" TC
I could need much backup, because it is so much to do. I am relative fast with modeling and texturing, and if i get into it, i can make 1 or 2 models per day. Once i got a good Material-palette im getting much faster. But like i mentioned before, anyone that likes the idea, style and has good skills...

Re: Models by macuser
There is also a different (maybe easier method).
If i remind well, you need to select the highpoly and then add the lowpoly to the selection.
Then Bake with "Selected to active".
You are welcome!
