Re: Server trouble?

The server where the videos are stored, is only accessable by Giel, who is somewhat busy right now. RIght now you can just download the HQ Videos using the small mirror link next to it.

Re: VM Build Enviroment

I would suggest a VirtualBox VM instead of plain qemu.

Re: Received phishing emails lately?

Would be interesting if anyone else got this, but as you stated you also use your mail on another site. I just checked a few things and can say that there is no way to expose your E-Mail in our forums/Trac, unless you explicitly want to.

Re: New rank icons...

I think normal ranks were removed so people don't get too hung up on post count. I'd be fine with adding them back, but I'll wait for Kamaze to comment before doing anything. The normal player ranks where removed, because I wasn't able to make the phpBB display the "normal" user ranks (th...

Re: Porting to C++

I'm fine with the C code. Here are also two nice quotes why: The idea that new code is better than old is patently absurd. Old code has been used. It has been tested. Lots of bugs have been found, and they've been fixed. There's nothing wrong with it. It doesn't acquire bugs just by sitting around o...

Re: Question about the 3DS format as native format

In the front, I'm not into modelling nor graphics programming, yet. But I like the approach Horde3D uses. It has its own binary format, but for modelling it works with COLLADA as source file and converts them using a own small COLLADA -> Bin compiler. Well, it doesn't really resolve the problem of c...

Re: Warzone for PSP

As far as I know, no. It wouldn't be possible without getting in conflict with some kind of law, since the PSP is normally a closed platform.

I'm always watching :ninja: I'm just somewhat busy right now and also handicapped. The only PC I have full access to, is my Netbook which isn't fun to work on. As soon as I wrote all exams and have my desktop back I'll investigate.

Re: Make the minimum resolution for the game 800x600?

With the raising requirements for 3.0 I see no problem with raising the screen resolution even to 1024x800. People who run WZ with a lower resolution (for hardware reasons) will probably have no chance to run it at all then.

Re: Power comes so slowly

In some of the first missions you also get a power upgrade. Which does nearly double your power income. But don't forget after the research to upgrade your powerplant! (Order a truck to build on your powerplant, like you upgrade factorys later) Also: If you don't need some unity anymore, recycle the...

Re: Vehicule in reverse

World in Conflict has such a feature. If you place an order within a certain angle behind the Vehicle, it will drive backwards for a short range, turn around and drive normally then. Also, you have the feature to order an unit to do a reverse retreat. Which means, that the vehicle drives to the desi...
