And generally speaking, It's hard to get a lot of combat units up to experience. The best way to get a large group of units on higher experience levels is to use commanders, as they give their levels of experience, to the units attached to them. Not automatic repairs, I'm afraid. I think what Iluvalar meant was units under a commander's control are able to automatically go to a repair facility if they are damaged. once repaired at a repair facility, they will drive themselves back to the commanders side. Imo, I think Per hit the nail, the top tier research upgrades may need more power to get researched. It should be a weakness to research the research, as to take power away in what one would normally use for defenses and tanks/cyborgs/VTOLs.
