Re: interface proposal
hey ello, great that you want to pretty wz up :) Currently I'm only suspicious towards the main 6 icons. The shading in them I don't like at all. I can't get my finger on it though, I'll have to look and compare them to the current ones some more If it's not a big deal for you, it would be helpful i...

What is not accuarte about it? (I'm curious because I want to know if it's only for looks or if it can be used as statistical data visualization..)Buginator wrote:Hmmm, it isn't very accurate, but that is ok, still looks nice.

Warzone 2100 Subversion history code swam in four dimensions
wz_cs.png Hey people, I already said it on IRC, but in case you missed it: I created a code swarm ( official page ) of wz2100's Subversion code & content repository. In high definition! You can watch it here (Vimeo) and if you have an account, even download the original .avi. The four dimension...

Re: Wiki account?
I don't see it as a MediaWiki problem, rather as a failure of what- or whoever connected the user databases.
A (IMHO) fine solution would be to disconnect the user databases (if possible) so a user has to have one account per forum and one per wiki if he wishes to use both.

Asking about how wz2100 porting was for the devs and for help porting a TBS game
Hi, I'll write the standard mail in a second, but first I want to ask you about wz2100, what was it like to port it? Had the whole thing to be rewritten? was there documentation? did the ex-devs help? I would be glad if you could give some hints on how it is porting an ex-commercial game, as there m...

Re: Contribute. Web design and layout talk.
I agree, vanilla is confusing and nice. Maybe it can be de-confused with a theme (I don't know..) Well, I guess you know the problems with phpbb (popular -> spam orgy, bloat bloat bloat) Ok, don't listen to me, I simply just hate phpbb that's all :) Another one to be evaluated (or rather laughed at...

Re: Contribute. Web design and layout talk.
I see. (In contrary to the link bar, which I did not see.)
Do you know when 'the time' will have come? (This year/Next month?)
What forum software are you considering? (Do you know of Vanilla?)

Re: Contribute. Web design and layout talk.
Eye candy is on second place, totally agree! I like the clean forum layout, some icons can be changed to fit wz2100, *maybe* some colors. I don't like the homepage (although it's nicely clean!) The biggest problem seems to be the missing connections between main page and wiki. (needs 1 link) I think...

Re: Contribute.
1. Why did you change to the current web page? (Layout/design) It does not have any wz2.1k feeling. Did the old page brake or didn't you like the old cms? Do you have access to the old page's content (text and images)? 2. Do you need a) a web designer and/or b) some idiot-worker who takes text/image...
