Re: NWS & GFX Skin for 2.1 Beta 4 UPDATED!
looks too comic-like for me, very flashy.
The textures look, as they were made with Paint, too clean, no shades.
No offence guys, just my mind

Re: Animated .pies
If PIE is using standard UVW mapping-coords, texturing is no problem.
I just have to know which max. texture-size is allowed and which pic-format, PNG/24 bit ?
Frame animation should be no problem, but what exactly should be animated, the oil-squirt only ?
CU, MB

Could anybody provide me the original oil-derrick in 3ds or blender format ? Would be nice, thx. Supports WZ any particle system ? I think the squirting out oil, would be better to be done with particles. Sure... attached is the .3ds file. As for the particle system, yeah, it has one, but it isn't ...

Re: Animated .pies
Years? O_o Who is going to convert all those .pies to those, and then fix those to have the same features that the .pie file has? A new model format IS being worked on, (.wzm), but that still in planning I think. I wanted/needed a replacement for the derrick... Yeah, it is near 2 years ago: http://...

Re: Animated .pies
I do not understand, why this project is still using this old, unusable model-format in place of something, we could work with
We had already model-format discussion few YEARS ago
Why do not switch to 3DS, ASE, MD5, MD3 or any other format, which is well supported ?
Greetings, MB

Hehe , nice
Sorry, but my work-notebook is in repair (once again) so I can not finish the map at the moment.
I will post every progress I made, if my notebook is back again.
Mabe I will try to get the edit working on my wife's notebook.
