Another idea (since I'm at it): Lots of games have combats "songs". When a gun is fired into an enemy it automaticaly fades the current soundtrack and plays a more sped up combat song. The best example I've seen is battle realms, where EVERY track had a "peace" and "war&quo...

be sure for the space between your executable-file and the --cheat parameter

something like

"c:\program files\warzone2100\warzone2100.exe"--cheat

won't work, it has to be

"c:\program files\warzone2100\warzone2100.exe" --cheat

in your warzone folder, where your warzone exe-file is, there is a file warzone2100.rpt

when posting your reply you have an option at the bottom "upload attachment", click there and upload the file...

what are your system specs?
which version are you using? where downloading?
do you have a crash-file ( warzone2100.RPT ) ?
are you able to reproduce it for example when building a specific building or something else?

Yes, same here. Works perfectly in external players, but hangs in Warzone. And I encoded the German video again to see if my ffmpeg2theora is broken, but that one works. would try encoding here and testing possible parameters etc etc etc ... but the the downloaded avi-files are broken so it doesn't...

Hm, I recreated the AVIs via rpl2avi ok, found and downloaded rpl2avi ... but is it pehaps possible for someone to compile it for me? please? can only find source-files ... edit: downloading torrent Update: WTF O_o played perfectly in VLC ingame the first 3 seconds are ok, than it hangs one short t...

go to temp-folder, delete the "fontconfig" folder go back to warzone-folder, into "fonts" edit fonts.conf-file and delete line 26 <dir>WINDOWSFONTDIR</dir> and try again. perhaps there's an incompatibility with a windows-font? oh, temp folder is C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Loc...

it's not ment as a "must have". i only tried to show, what a machine you'll be able to get for 3000 USD.

2GB stick of DDR3 RAM are worth $33. Your average video card with 512MB VRAM is worth around $90 each. So that's, what, $280 right there? Add a mobo for $100, an i7 for $300, a case for $100, a PSU for $100, and that's, what, $880? And you don't think $3000 is overpriced for this? o_O i've mixed so...
