Re: THANK YOU!!!!
Seems a lot of the newest RTS games have gone online only such as End of Nations. I think the single player offline game is itself becoming a dying breed.

Re: Warzone 2100 Redemption
Got some menu changes in. Actually wasn't as difficult as I had thought. So now the video menu is back in and looks more like the difficulty menu sans better naming. Needs more work and some changes in strings.txt for best results though. Still need to move skirmish into single player menu and chang...

Ok, last off-topic then. Will try to contact those who remain here.. What about grim and his archive? Any way to get in touch? Anyway, email hasn't changed, still have my darklastat yahoo address (since the geocities days). Since pumpkin-2 is off-air so to speak, if you have info can you copy/paste ...

Re: Just Joined
You would be surprised to hear about game community members. While i was active on EVE Online I ran across a few varied corps. One was run by various family members while another corp had granpa, dad, and son playing together in another random merc corp. Age is another odd variable in gaming communi...

Re: Fusion rockets ho!
I forget how the warp drive or "Alcubierre Drive" works, but it could get us to our nearest star in a matter of months if memory serves. Its fatal flaw? Energy consumption is insane at this point... As far as fusion.. are you referring to experimental or commercial fusion reactors? As far ...

Re: Do units recieve bonus of high terrain?
height bonus would work best for borgs and infantry as it should give a defensive bonus since it is harder to hit something above you. Would be useless for artillery and mortars.

Fusion rockets ho!
Spotted this earlier tonight on yahoo. Looks like NASA is looking into something other than Ion propulsion for system exploration. Anyone up for a quick (30 day) jaunt to mars?? Couple this (since Federation ships were fusion powered anyway) and a working warp drive and youve got NCC-1701 ready to e...
