Re: Changes are coming!
Then it sounds well done but can you just keep the text box in the same position regardless of whether or not you've opened some menu like unit production. Then it is always same place, no messy moving about and I'll know where to expect it? At this stage we're getting more minor so almost there

Re: Attack target type toggle
Mastering dow 1 I know exactly what you mean, the stances are F1-F5 correlating to: Hold ground stance, Stand ground stance, Burn stance (preferred to attack buildings), Cease fire stance (this is a great stance combined with infiltration) and attack stance. My vids still exist here - > http://www.g...

Re: Changes are coming!
Okay this is all appearing fine to me. Also have to consider placement of the notifs when many tanks die etc. In other games i.e. starcraft and DOW-1 was like this: example.png so in middle upper has message history, bottom left above there ( or maybe radar?) other misc. notifications. Just as a sug...

Re: Changes are coming!
How about upper middle like other rts games for the placement. And I don't quite understand the 4 lines, can you test different amounts with the community to find what works without clogging the screen?

Re: Play some larger maps
Few things, "it will shows you, that the game doesn`t cheats" - it will show you, that the game doesn`t cheat. "instead to upgrade your weapons" - instead of upgrading your weapons. Minor English parts but this can be fully understood and in the video. quality is fine and was 720...

Re: Play some larger maps
I had a great game against a russian guy, I made many cyborgs vs his heavy machine gun tanks and won. attacked 3 different places and overwhelmed him took his resources. He didn't wanna give in

Re: command lag
solution is therefore move to the southern hemisphere in the outback. electrons moving over copper cabling is around 10x slower than the speed of light in a vacuum from what I read. besides you get a read out on latency before you go into the game. Not much can be done unless you can move continents

Re: Dtrace Flame graphs
Made an on-CPU flame graph and it is lightweight although it takes many mallocs it's on my systems CPU less that 1% (0.62%). all my CPU is hogged by display world and draw3Dscene so if we upgrade the game engine to QJSEngine I'm assuming this will allow for some new cool things? Getting curious on d...

lol, amusing and the most interesting part is his point on ZFS XD obviously no clue on that. I've been using it and it's fantastic combined with all its great features including snapshots, dedupe, compression, ARC etc.. https://blogs.oracle.com/bonwick/en/entry/space_maps anyhow I keep seeming to go...

"add the team colour flag to each text post leave text colours the same"
so if this is you post a message and then the colour matches the persons I'm happy with this also. Whatever gives it distinct clarity.
I can't read some of those lol, kidding.

Re: Dtrace Flame graphs
Made a flame graph for malloc operations in a 4 player ffa, me and 3 nexus AI's. Command used after game launch. Get all malloc operations and stack trace for each along with the sum of bytes requested, then fold into single line and generate flame graph with bytes per operation. dtrace -x ustackfra...

Re: Dtrace Vsync
Can we account for malloc across all separate OS's as well? I imagine so. What usually is expensive is not just how much you request but more so how often you make those calls. It is the bottleneck of application -> library -> system call interface and back up to acknowledge the request for memory a...

Re: FreeBSD version 3.1.2
Ok, thanks for the support though. When I get some time I may try to dedicate fixing this, already spent much work trying so far wonder why people aren't using BSD vs other OS's but probably some reasons I've overlooked. I've found some ways I prefer it to a normal linux distro at the same time miss...
