Re: add a research query
I would like this too, but not really! You see this is what really makes an awesome player, someone that can keep up the research while doing all the other things...

Re: List of known suggestions (check this first)
There is no quick fix for implementing these things...it is all done voluntary, and nobody is getting paid for any work being done on Warzone. The donations go directly to server costs, and that is it. My skills are mainly with UI so there is not really much I can do until some kind of up to date U...

Move design UI to left side.
When editing the design of units you need to move your cursor from one side of the screen (left where you choose unit) to the other side of the screen (where you change weapons, etc). This wastes precious time. If the design UI could be moved beside or above the unit selection UI it would be better ...

Unbinding F Key mappings
Is there a particular reason that you cannot alter the key bindings for the F keys? I ask this because Mac keyboard layout needs to be changed for F key to work like windows. Also for me I would like to change the bindings anyway as I like to experiment in this area to make for faster micromanagemen...

Re: Weapons not a Vailable and Too far
How ever do you have a list, Saying that I have all 5 research builds. Just what to research 1st and then so on. I'm sorry. I won't be able to sit here and figure out your research tree. Or the tech tree. That's way over my head. What I need then is an idea on what to research and what should I res...

Re: Weapons not a Vailable and Too far
Maybe you are slow on the research - there are definite research paths that you need to follow to "unlock" weapons, including ripple rockets (which is probably the weapon hammering you from afar). You can't just research willy nilly, you need to set your goals as to what weapon you want an...

Re: Vacuum Towers
Ok Richard, you seem like a nice guy and I think you mean well, but these sort of ideas are wasting your time because they are just not going to happen. You have to understand that making any sort of changes to this game takes considerable time and effort on the part of the programmers. It is not ju...

Re: Warzone 2100 Guide+ enters Open Beta!
Oh one thing I remember the old guide showed weapon min. and max. (after all modifiers), if it is not too much trouble would be nice to see this as well, or even taking it further to see the damage after each modification is applied... or maybe I am missing where you have this already! Thanks! Edit ...

Re: Multiplayer Internet Speed
Best way is to just join a game and look at the players pings - if they are all over like 400 your connection is probably too slow - even then ping speeds up if you are closer in physical distance to other players so you should test with a few games.

Re: Remembering of Locations of Oil Resources
[*]Send the generated map over network. No idea how hard or easy it is. I wonder if it could just use the same system like now with transferring maps (ie when a player joins a game and doesn't already have the map), I guess all the random map generation would happen before the game is hosted, just ...

Maybe if there were only certain terrain types that could be drilled, idk - then I guess we get back to the main distribution problem.NoQ wrote:Why would anybody drill oils anywhere but near their starting position?
