Hehe, don't take him too seriously.
But still, at least *some* information is needed for anyone to be able to help you.

Re: something I am working on.
I needed the attached patch to make it work Blender 2.46, but it disables teamcolours, so I did not yet commit it.

The converter was written by Per; I wrote the GUI.kage wrote:also, there is a well written 3ds -> pie converter that i think was written, at least in part, by Devurandom (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Re: something I am working on.
Maybe you could model in this resolution, and then render the detauls into a texture + bumpmap and reduce the model details. (Like done for the id-Tech-4 engine.) I'd be willing to add bumpmapping to the engine to support that work. (But not before a month from now, since I still got other high-prio...

Re: Would it be possible to port Warzone2100 on wii ?
I think that would be fun. :) Though know in advance that my time is currently rather limited and more than answering questions is likely not possible. Before you start, you should check whether SDL, OpenGL and OpenAL are available for the Wii. If they are not, that would impose a huge problem. You ...

makerules/configure.mk -> Replace "mingw32-ar" with "ar".
Seems the precompiled MinGW has a very inconsistent naming scheme...

Re: Help with compiling in Windows XP
The stuff between the s doesn't matter, but you're missing the SDL includes (aren't those in the dev-package?). They are in the devpkg, yes. As to the issues with flex: Before I change the svn blindly, I would like you to try something: Open makerules/common.mk and look for "%.lex.h %.lex.c: %...

Re: Help with compiling in Windows XP
So, I'm trying to compile the source files in Windows XP, but I don't understand the "Setting things up to get ready for compiling" part of this page: http://wiki.wz2100.net/Windows_Compile_Guide_%28MinGW%29 . Can somebody shed some light on me? I understand the part of using the command ...

Re: Graphics request: Warzone 2100 logo
if you want i could look for another resurrection font. @devu: so does it fit in your secret purpose? The font itself looks ok. It's just a little bit lost in the lightning. -> How does it look if the lightning extends from the Resurrection to the Warzone 2100 in a few (just a few) cases? To move i...

Re: tank tracks movement
As (a) forward gears are usually more powerful than backwards (assume that, am no tank driver) and (b) amor is more powerful on the front (another assumption out of thin air), this sounds like a very logical step. afaik, traditionally if there's an enemy shooting at you (that is a reasonable threat...

I am sorry, but I guess it is not possible to have that without a code change then.
