Re: Do you remember...

As I mentioned in the second post, it's still possible, but it's unbalanced. That said, we're thinking of decreasing its power and adding it to the game. Yeah, I just had a look through the files but I don't remember what I copied from & to were... O_o It's called a Heavy Plasma Pit if I'm looking ...

Re: Do you remember...

I remember wayyyyy back editing a file that replaced the Pepper Pot pit with the Naplam one from NEXUS. It was fun for a while to see it shoot Napalm too enemy units & see them burn then blow up, but it was over powered. I liked to use it as when I was pissed & wanted to destroy something quickly :t...

Re: MAC users, where are you guys?

Well, I'm here. I went to the compile guide in the wiki to give it a try & didn't see any listings for Mac OSX. If there is a list of what I need to compile WZ, plus a step by step "how-to", I would give it a shot. Though I have to admit, I have never done this before. I also searched the forums & f...

Re: Preventing `Painting'

A combination of the two ideas could also work. 1. Have structures being build be percentage based.     example: 10% power = 10% strength. CONs to this are structures are weak when first built. 2. Then have the the structure return power at "whatever %" intervals if that structure is not completed a...

Re: Grim.wz on a Mac?

Ok, where do I add this "--debug all --debugfile warzone.log" ? Because when I add the "--debug all --debugfile warzone.log" to the file name "Warzone2100.app" (so now it looks like this "Warzone2100.app --debug all --debugfile warzone.log") OSX asks me if i want to keep the ".app" extension or chan...

Re: Grim.wz on a Mac?

OK, I copied the file & changed the name. It still loads with the original textures. I also re-zipped the grim folder back up to, "grim.zip" & then changed the ".zip" extension back to ".wz". So it looks like grim.wz again. But still nothing works. So I changed grim.wz back to a folder view like it ...

Re: Grim.wz on a Mac?

Ok, I opened it up. It is the grim textures. There is no file called tertilesc1.wz

P.S. Sorry for the slow response. I'm feeling under the weather. Thanks for taking the time helping me. It is really appreciated.

Re: New FMV how important is this to the community?

I would like to see a NEW campaigns with NEW FMVs. Though it would be easier to just Remake/Redo (but not the same style as the old FMVs) the FMVs to match the original campaign.

My vote is for new campaigns & new FMVs.

Ok, so i now have the mod/global grim.wz in the Application Support/Warzone 2100 folders.

Now what? It still doesn't load grim.wz. I see the original gfx.

Re: Grim.wz on a Mac?

I have no clue as to where I should stick the file still. I don't have a Warzone 2100 home directory like in Windows afaik. There is something close to a home directory, but not the exact same thing. The screenshots have text that I added to help visualize what I mean Has anyone been able to get thi...

Grim.wz on a Mac?

OK, I tried adding the grim.wz mod on my Mac. The only trouble is that there is no place to put the file. I know it goes in the mods/global folder, but there is no such folder. I then tried to create the mods/global folder & put it in a warzone 2100 folder. Problem is I have TWO different places to ...

Building Limits

Why is the building limits set for oil derricks at 30(max) in skirmish mode? Shouldn't it be 40(max) to match the number of & power generators(10 max)? Each power generator runs 4 derricks. (10 * 4 = 40) So 2 generators will never be used. (8 * 4 = 32) I know this a small thing & I can adjust the ma...

Re: Help with models for wz.

How I would love to have modding tools for a Mac! I know I'm apart of the small population of users here that use a WZ on a Mac, but I would be glad to contribute more in the way of mods/maps. I know what some say "then make the tools yourself." & that is true. I will come December. I know nothing o...
