There never has to be but it would not look right just seeing tanks blow up and lose health. There should be some visible projectile/blast IMO.

The campaign was designed with time limits in mind, that is the only thing that makes it at all challenging. If the time limits were removed it would be too easy and would have to be completely redesigned. You could always make a mod, but I would suggest looking at some tutorial/walkthrough like htt...

Type: cheat on
Type: research all
UI: design the unit you want
Press: Ctrl + o
UI: select unit tab
UI: select your desired unit

As in a mobile internet stick? If you do not have a router as you say check any anti-virus or security software you have running on your computer and see if it is blocking the port.

The armor bug has been around for a while and I believe parts of the game were balanced while it was still broken so now that it is back certain aspects of the game may be unbalanced and will need to be rebalanced so be patient (also a simple typo/bug in code can have a big impact).
