Re: r5277 - crash on mission start

If you experience the playlist crash (saving an empty music.wpl helps, or r5261 crashes, but r5260 does not), this bug is where the info flows: https://gna.org/bugs/?11847

Re: Brazilian portuguese translation

I don't know if that's possible (hence, correct me if I'm wrong), but I think you can open pt_br.po, change only the necessary strings and then simply save as pt.po and upload to the devs. Yes. But you should also edit the header information, i.e. Language-Team, X-Poedit-Language, Last-Translator, ...

Re: Inserting Music

It *did* have .mp3 support via libmad. I dunno why it was cut. (Or maybe I do, but I forgot the reason :stare: ) I cut it long time ago, after no user complained in the survey for this, and I wanted to cut down dependencies. Mainly because libmad didn't want to be build on all systems easily (iirc)...

Re: Warzone folder missing (in my documents)

however, i need to know where is that folder and why it isn't there anyway, do you have any clues? Depends on which version you are using, which I think you forgot to tell us. ;) Since it is not in My Documents, I assume you are using 2.1_betaX. You'll find it in "C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Loc...

Hm, ok. Read about that game in another thread as well. Don't know what Chojun's issue was then. ;)

Fixed, hopefully it stays longer this time.

Re: Updated GPL release readme

From what I understand, the GPL+exceptions could be replaced by the LGPL. Would have afaik the same effect, that the base source and all deriviates of it weould need to be open source, while allowing to link it to properitary stuff. However, I am not a lawyer. The LGPL works the other way round: Li...

Re: need help with compiling snapshoot

checkinstall is to allow you to uninstall the package later, and it also make you a package, so that if you use a new os, dont have to "make" it again. so yes, it is a "build me a package" program. is there any problem between warzone and the program that i should be aware of?? No clue, I never use...

Re: Updated GPL release readme

As the Resurrection Project can never use that exception (ok, we could, if we would manage to get the ok from everyone who ever contributed a significant amount of code), at least this project will never shut its doors. ;) I guess what Buginator means is that i.e. when Chojun writes his VisiRaptor r...

Re: Updated GPL release readme

Awesome! xD Just need to work out how to distribute this update to everyone :) Will go by itself. Rman just talked to me about this. I do not think you have to inform anyone who distributes any derived sources of the original GPL release. If we place that file into our next release and put an annou...

It does, I explicitly added that. :)
(I also updated the threadname now.)
