Made a map where u start as a Scavenger and have a factory. When trying to upgrade that factory, the hole game shut down. Of course?... :? You need to change game rules significantly for that to work. Such as make a separate factory module that has the same size, and paint how exactly it will look ...

It's hardcoded that VTOLs have an animation PIE which is played when they are moving. The mod is, as Stratadrake said, just a custom chasis using the default VTOL propulsion. Gauss cannon muzzle pie doesn't have any connectors to attach the muzzle flash to, I could've sworn this was fixed a while back, I guess not.

The dragon body isn't used in the campaign, so it will have to be added to your mod (take it from mp.wz\components\bodies\).
