All units taken over by the player during the campaign should be demoted because the number of enemies they must have killed is ludicrous and implausible considering how few enemy units get them into trouble during the campaign it demotivates a player when carefully trained units cannot match the ex...

Zepherian has tested the buildbot release of January 14th and noticed that the behaviour of VTOLs is unacceptable:

All VTOLs try to land on the same pad, even if there are far more pads than VTOLs. I successfully reproduced this problem.

After a very quick skimming, and since savegames would be broken again, it makes more sense to do a 3.3.0 release than a 3.2.4. I also think a release should wait until the campaign issues are worked out, along with the other new crop of bugs that appeared like the VTOL issue, and also the balancin...

Github works fine. Merely the buildbot downloads are out-of-date, which might be due to downtime.

Zepherian would be happy with VTOLs simply rearming as they used to in 3.1.5. According to him, they should fly to the closest pad, and, if it is currently occupied, fly to the next available one. He also stated that the limitation of of at most 50 pads for at most 150 units often lead to a shortage...

Zepherian has discovered that VTOLs
  • still fail to rearm: Few or none of them will land on pads even if explicitly ordered to do so.
    After returning from an attack, many fly to the HQ.
  • can fly into buildings at high altitudes and get stuck there.

Zepherian has discovered a critical bug: Vtols refuse to reload on pads in the latest buildbot version. I could reproduce the problem.
