Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

That's why I've been working on them. =p Though, for the same reason, I haven't been around to post on the site, much at all, or work on models. School is such a hindrance. =(

Re: Cheat Mode - Give All

On the contrary... Slow your game down to .1 speed and ctrl + x. :P It takes a little longer, but not much, as far as the game is concerned. Perhaps order your trucks to build a few buildings, the research should be done by the time they finish, and no time lost, in-game. Great alternative, if you d...

Re: Warzone 2100:mmo Rts

Actually, if one of us could get a hold of the engine that TWZ was going to use, we could make things happen. (There was a primitive version of the game, a little demonstration, if you will.) Should I look into this, or are we not going to worry about it right now?

Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

Not yet, but I have a class in school that uses Rhino, so I have alot more time to work on this stuff than some people do; I'll see what I can come up with.

Re: Spelling of "armor"

Yeah, well...perhaps some of those memories weren't quite good, I really couldn't say.

In any case, I was...barely a teenager, at most.

So, things have changed, and I have useful input this time!  :o

I see Coyote here, too. I wonder what would happen if everyone ended up on these boards...

Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

I noticed Rush2049's topic about modeling an HQ and such, and decided I'd try it myself. I use a program called Rhinoceros (http://www.rhino3d.com), a more powerful, commercial editor than Blender. (Hell, I don't even know if you can actually draw in Blender, I haven't tried. :P) Anyway, not to stea...

Re: Cheat Mode - Give All

This bug actually existed prior to Warzone being resurrected, for as long as the game has been on retail, even. From my knowledge, nobody has ever fixed this bug, but it really doesn't matter. You have all your technology anyway, just have fun deleting all the stock units that the AI uses from your ...

Re: Warzone 2100:mmo Rts

This was actually thought of back at Pumpkin-2. The idea was to be called "Total Warzone," and we did get some demo engines done and stuff, but we never got anywhere near to creating a game. Anyway, there's some documentation at realtimestrategies.net, which I will link you all to. It's quite intere...

Re: Spelling of "armor"

Personally, I'd stick with the British spellings. (It's proper English, first, not 'American,' and we want to respect, and remember Pumpkin Studios, correct?) I mean...it does look cool.  :P Oh, and, Troman. Long time no see, eh? Perhaps you'll remember a Tyranid, from the Newst/Pumpkin-2 era. (If y...

Great work.

I'm glad to see that, although NEWST and Pumpkin-2 (Both which I was a part of) are dead, and have been for a while, there's still a group of people dedicated to persuing the greatness that is called Warzone 2100. The site looks great, and everything, but - it's frustrating, trying to get mods to wo...
