2c-DesertStoops

Another map. 1 vs 1 in a desert with bases which have multiple entrances on huge stairs/stoops. 24 oil per player. :lecture:

Also in the middle are, if you want, some scavengers. They are just a few survivors though, so be gentle with them...

2c-Serpentine

Also i made another variant of the map for two players. I like the idea of having multiple ways to the enemy, so you have to defend all of them to be sure. :) Though you have only one entrance here which still makes it easy to defend your base. So one could imagine another 2 player variant with wide...

4c-Serpentine

Hey peeps :)

Just made a new little map. 20 oil per base and 8 oil in the middle. Yeah... That's it.

Still didn't use features and buildings yet... Had no ideas what to place where. :|

Re: How does the renderer make the tiles overlap each other?

Thanks guys :) It seems this is a bit more complicated since you have to work with shaders, which i didn't have yet. I found some nice tutorials though. It seems to be exactly what Warzone does. Very cool :) http://picload.org/thumbnail/oaccipg/texture_splattin.png http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/And...

Re: How does the renderer make the tiles overlap each other?

I think Bonsaiheld is asking how big 3.1 terrain textures are smoothly blended together. It's easy to explain what's done, and i could even do that via imagemagick , but i have no clue how it's done in terms of opengl. That's exactly what i want. Yep. :) As said i'm using Three.JS - so i don't use ...

Re: How does the renderer make the tiles overlap each other?

Hmm, I don't follow what your asking exactly 3.x don't use tiles per se, as in the way 2.x did it. Are you asking how to get rid of seams, or are you asking how to put decals on the terrain ? Hi :) Unfortunately i don't know what you mean with decals, but other than that: Yes. My renderer just puts...

How does the renderer make the tiles overlap each other?

Hey peeps. I'm learning WebGL to create fancy 3D stuff in the browser, with the help of ThreeJS. I'm learning by trying to copy - of course- Warzone. :) Working on it since a few days, being a beginner in programming and with only 2D experience. So, it might never actually become a real game, it's j...

4c-HelpMe

The idea  i now came up with is that you play together with your team mate, but can't help that good when it gets attacked by the enemy, because you got only a tiny passage to its base. :hmm: Each team mate has its own wider passage to the enemy, so everyone may attack on their own, BUT you ca...

4c-Brusque

Next map already finished. :lecture: I called it Brusque because i couldn't think of a more suitable name.

It's a simple 2vs2 match, 20 oil per player and 16 oil in the middle of the map.

Played that map multiple times now... Very nice. :P

Any comment will be appreciated. :)

8c-NTW-DesertRiver

I hate NTW maps. They all look the same and most of the time only minor changes are made. Of course that's on purpose... But i don't like it. Now i played around a bit with tiles and so on... So of course my second map also is an NTW one! :lol2: BUT with bridges, a few mountains, a river and no flat...

Re: Mod's in Multiplayer

I would also like that. That way you could also easily play Map-Mods with others (if that doesn't work yet). (:

Imagine further: We could even select and change the mods inside the game creation screen. :hmm:
