Re: RBL's welcome new members
OK I am back to see who I can not trash in the upcoming weeks between school, if my work load is not to much. OH and after playing 3.1.1 the past few days I think I might have a few people crying over my review in a few days because I am not happy with much of what I see, but oh well its workable at...

Re: 15 Years Warzone 2100 - Anniversary
Thanks RJ or is it RV these days lol. Not talked to cowboy in about 2 or 3 years now and yes he always had a lot of good ideas and was always coding/programing something for the 14 years or so I have known him. Also I had a number of emails with Alex and a few others from Pumpkin and then Pivotal Ga...

Re: 15 Years Warzone 2100 - Anniversary
First off I have no clue who Jay Walker is, and to my knowledge he was not working with me on getting the Open Source of the game from what I recall. For the record it was me with the support of others that I can't recall right now that wrote up the petition I was the one that posted it, and sent it...

Re: 15 Years Warzone 2100 - Anniversary
Technically the beta for the game was released on MPlayer in Nov. 98 and had a massive following long before the release of the game. I still think the biggest downfall for the game and Pumpkin at the time was marketing and supply. I got my first copy from a newly opened Best Buy and they only had 8...

Re: Stupid map making questions from Aubergine
I would have to agree with RJ as Combatant tho it could have been just a letter someone added for the hell of it. Also the only stupid question, is the one you have but never ask, besides I have heard them all in my days. I still have hundreds of maps people sent me to look at and comment some good ...

Re: Updating Old Apps? WZCK, Pie Slicer, et al.
Wow good to see you back Strata missed you alot over the years even if we did fight a lot back in the day you were a WZGOD and reading about your PC that you made PIESlicer on brought a tear to my eye or was that some dirt in it. Oh and I didn't forget about you LA just not sure what to say at this ...

Re: FOSS, Warzone, and making a buck.
You can't be really thinking of charging people money for this game its a dinosaur and you have many of other games out there today that offer much more just for the cost of the game. StarCraft 2, Supreme Commander 1 & 2, Warcraft 3, Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, Rise of Nation, Earth 2150, and ...

Re: MP Imbalance Solutions: No Play Data. What's the point?
Well most of my changes were what I thought of as common sense changes, and alot of it was on the VTOLS that I felt were useless in game. Take the Cluster Bombs in real life they have hundreds of bomblets that are released over a vast area, Pumpkin Dev had one bomb and really never learned what they...

Re: Ban Smilies Ban Signatures
WTF this game has been around as long as smiles, even back on the SX Forums when this game was in beta testing we had smiles. Hell I miss my smile I had back on the P2 forums. We had lots of smiles and its a good why to get your point across. Oh and be happy I don't use my old smiles.

Re: Warzone World Tournament 2012
Oh come on, Nexus AI doesn't even have time to build his first tank with his usual build order on this map. Of course it's natural to beat him with a standard rush in under 6 minutes. To make it better, try adding some base defenses; they won't be removed for an Insane AIs at the start. How true at...

Re: Warzone World Tournament 2012
Well I did Desertec a few times and my best time so far 6:35 from T1 no base. I need to toy around on the next map a bit but that first one is to easy vs AI may have to try a few other AI's this week.

Re: Warzone World Tournament 2012
Ok I will ask this again what maps are you looking at for low oil testing ? I have read thru all the stuff you have up but nothing is stated as to what maps could or should be in the running for testing ones skills at 40 mins with Nexus AI ? It would be nice to know what kind of low oil maps will be...

Re: Warzone World Tournament 2012
Well if I have internet by then count me in, still kind of lost on the rules and what maps we are using. Mountain is a low oil map but not fare for all players. Tho Rush is kind of fare its kind of boring. Anyways would like to know the maps to be used.
