Ah-
I've just realized that I was looking for 'MizaMaze' and should have been looking for 'No Place to Hide'.....which I have.

Re: Building no aggressive units
Yes, plenty of mortars.
I'm not suggesting this as a technique for all occasions, but just a a means of learning more about the game.

Building no aggressive units
Having completed the single player campaign twice, I tried again, with the restriction of building no mobile aggressive units, This simple rule had to have an exception in the early stages of the game because no static aggressive emplacements are available, so I limited myself to the Viper Machine G...

Re: Alpha11 Retreat
It's not just that the objectives are unclear. At the last stage of the game, it isn't possible to even look for enemy tanks or structures, because the enemy transport is triggered by my approach. I often play without sound, and so can easily miss the instruction "Return to LZ", and that a...

Re: Alpha11 Retreat
The objectives of this mission are seriously flawed, and need attention. Rushing to intercept the artifact, and gaining it, doesn't end the mission. Continuing to the enemy base, it is possible to destroy the enemy defensive towers, place a unit on the base, see that there are no mobile enemy units ...

Re: Alpha11 Retreat
There is something seriously wrong with this mission. I rush to intercept the artifact, and gain it. This doesn't end the mission, so I continue up towards the enemy base. On approaching the base, with at least one of my vehicles on their base, I can clearly see no enemy occupants (just a couple of ...

Re: Beta 9 Strategy
My approach to this stage is to take off with 5 trucks and 5 cyclone turrets. On landing, immediately build a repair facility, and position the flack around it. Then build a few flack emplacements before starting on three lancer towers. This takes care of the immediate threat from the VTOLS and hove...
