Thanks Zarel.
It is my timing.
I checked out that link you sent and it did show up some games so I went into WZ and sure enough they were there.
I guess when I'm ready to play everyone else is in bed or at work. Typical.

I never see games in multiplayer
Using the Mac version I have yet to see any games show up in the list. I'm picking Lobby means internet play and IP is for local gaming right? When I go to Lobby it's always showing no games so is it an issue with the Mac version not playing with others or is it because I live in New Zealand there's...

Re: Reliable way of getting high quality videos?
I used the first one on the downloads page.
I'm just trying to download using FireFox to see if it works.
If not I'll try the other link you gave.
I'll let you know.
Thanks for your reply.

Reliable way of getting high quality videos?
Is there a reliable way of getting the high quality video sequences for Mac? I try to download but it takes 5 hours and ends up only downloading 300MB or so of the file. I've never yet had a proper download of the file. I'm using Safari as my only browser so would FireFox do a better job? Has anyone...

Re: Has anyone worked out what's going on with Mac OS X 10.5.7
Is that Apple tool meant to make the game take a million years to load? Seriously it took like an hour to basically get past the first movie. If it is and it's because it is doing intensive testing of every single line of code then that's cool and I will run the test again and leave it overnight but...

Thanks, I'm doing that now.
Sorry, I was following the build guide and didn't think to go to the downloads section for that. Typical.

Re: Has anyone worked out what's going on with Mac OS X 10.5.7
Hm, I don't see anything obviously wrong in those logs... The problem is somewhere in the old terrain rendering, the question is where... Do the videos work on those systems? Yes. They work great. Well in the release version anyway. How do I compile with the video in? Is it a switch or do I just do...

Re: Has anyone worked out what's going on with Mac OS X 10.5.7
Well, the general tone of this thread is probably due to the situation which is frustrating for all of us: A new OS version breaks rendering, users can't play, we don't know how to fix it, and nobody knows if Apple/Nvidia will ever do anything about it. I do understand that. I've been in similar si...

Re: Has anyone worked out what's going on with Mac OS X 10.5.7
First I apologise for the wording of my previous post. Seriously though the previous posts all do seem quite condescending which doesn't make anyone feel like going out of their way to do anything. That being said I've got a little closer. I downloaded the code and did an install on my machine. This...

Re: Has anyone worked out what's going on with Mac OS X 10.5.7
Hm, could we make --debug all --debugfile wz-log.txt the default for Macs (and maybe Windows), since those users mostly don't even know what a command line is? Perhaps that could give us some info on what's going on. Umm I know full well what a command line is. I use it every day so don't expect ev...

Re: Has anyone worked out what's going on with Mac OS X 10.5.7
So I went to my local Apple store and did a test. Apparently Warzone doesn't run on _any_ currently-sold MacBook or MacBook Pro. :( What should we do? I really want to help out because I love this game. My biggest problem is that I do not have any programming experience. Is there anything I can do ...

Has anyone worked out what's going on with Mac OS X 10.5.7
Has anyone worked out what's going on with Mac OS X 10.5.7? Still getting the problem using an NVidia MacBook Pro where the background isn't rendered at all. It looks like this: http://gallery.me.com/lowededwookie/100317/Picture-252011/web.jpg?ver=12470985540001 The game is pretty much useless. I co...

Re: No textures at all.
Problem appears to be something with Mac OS X 10.5.7. I rebuilt my machine and tried WZ before doing any updates. It worked bar the dodgy black blocks but that's livable. Upgrade to 10.5.7 and I get the white textures. Maybe something to do with an update to OpenGL or something. If I recall there wa...

Re: No textures at all.
Sadly it's happening in Windowed mode as well.
I'll tell you what. I'll rebuild my Mac over the weekend and I'll let you know what happens.
I'll have it running with nothing but the OS, no other software and see if it might be something getting in the way of the app.
