I think by removing the effect from the pie files it would remove it visually I will look at finding this. Well after a game on the fire map i was shooting the enemy through my walls with mg's on 3.3.0beta1 and also any other structure you care to mention
THe structures only block movement not bullets

A good way to find out is maybe look at other folks mods the ultimate scav mod has many new structures try looking at that.

There are many 3D model programs you can use as long as they export in object format you can convert them to pie

Bullets shooting through walls but i dint edit it this is 3.2.3 but its the same in 3.3.0-better
Im sorry its a long video and i dont edit them so need to watch it all the way to see many different weapons pass through walls
