I do not know what other modders would like but a minor increase would be enough for me, 50 is overkill, also 50's a bit much considering there's only around 50 free research perequisite there would be even less if various tech tree inconsistencies were fixed.

Meh, if you guys actually bothered to figure out which research topics were blank (there are around 30 blank ones that should be replaced before you actually start adding new ones), you could replace those, but noooooooo. Personally i use VTOL bug bunker buster kamikaze attacks against troublesome defenses, used to be very effective with the HEAP Mini-Rocket upgrades researched.

There are two version of weapons.txt the one in base.wz(campaign stats) and mp.wz(skirmish/multiplayer stats), the campaign command turret build power is 100. Command turret cost was increased from 100 to 500 for ski/mp to prevent spamming them against the AI, $2000 is a tad too much for the command...

The command-turret MK1 cost is 500 under version 2.2.0, closing then reopening the design screen should make it display the correct power cost and bodypoints of any command unit's.

Have you tried using cheats to kill the transport?

Nexus may use transports after all, i just completed gamma 3 and had the enemy transport detected audio play several times during the mission.

If you still have the savegame you could attach so we can have a look.
